In the simplest form, menopause is described as the cessation of
menstruation in a woman's life. It's when a woman is no longer fertile
and is unable to bear children. It's a milestone, rather than a
condition. However, when a woman is premenopausal she may encounter a
surge in estrogen. This is a condition referred to as estrogen dominance
